Show Miss Linda Harmer Late summer wedding planned by Linda Harmer, Gary Norman Mr. and Mrs. Orval L. Harmer announce the engagement engage-ment of their daughter, Linda, to Gary D. Norman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence G. Norman of Spanish Fork. Wedding date for the young couple has been set for August 15 in the Salt Lake Temple with a reception to honor the newlyweds the same evening in the Springville Third-Ninth Ward Church. The couple plans to make their home in Rexburg, Idaho, until they graduate in the spring from Ricks College. The bride-elect is a 1968 graduate of Springville High School and the three-year seminary program. In high school she was a member of the a cappella choir, Pep Club, Thespian Thes-pian Club, Ski Club, U.N. Club, Honor Society, and National Na-tional Honors Cotillion. At Ricks College she was a member mem-ber of Sigma Kappa Iota, Ski, Club, College Choir and performed with the Ricks College Program Bureau. Mr. Norman was a 1968 graduate of Spanish Fork High School and a four-year seminary program. He was a member mem-ber of a cappella choir, was a three-year letterman in basketball, bas-ketball, football, baseball and track. At Ricks he lettered in basketball and baseball. He made the ICAC All-Conference Team and was awarded the Most Outstanding Basketball Bas-ketball Athlete Award. He also was a member of the Ricks College Choir. |
