Show Springville man exhibits at American Fork A one-man exhibit of paintings paint-ings by Paul P. Forster of Springville opened at the American Am-erican Fork City Hall Monday and is open to viewing during city hall hours. Styling himself as a painter of moods and humanity, Mr. Forster is the winner of blue ribbons and gold medals for his portraits, landscapes and still-life still-life paintings. His work has won him an Anna Lee Stacey Fellowship. His murals are in Nevada, Missouri, Utah, Hawaii, Ha-waii, the Tongan Islands, New Zealand and Engiamo. This year he was the first prize winner win-ner in the oils division of the Springville National Art Exhibit. Ex-hibit. Mr. Forster was chairman of the art department of the LDS Church schools in the Pacific. He taught art ofr three years in the Tongan Islands. He was an instructor in art at the BYU for three years. This year Mr. Forster will terminate his stay at the University and is again resuming his carer as a full-time full-time artist. Living on the knife edge of inspiration in anticipation anticipa-tion of the unknown is Mr. Forsters philosophy. |
