Show ' Mrs. Robert Rulon Earl, nee Karma Lynn Temple rites, garden reception honor Karma Lynn, Robert Earl In Salt Lake Temple rites -yesterday Karma Lynn, daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Lynn, became the bride of Robert Rulon Earl, son of Mr. and Mrs. Rulon A. Earl of Las Vegas, Nevada. Following the marriage, the couple was honored by their parents at a garden reception at the Grant Thorn residence last evening. For the reception the bride was radiant in a nylon organzi gown trimmed with chantilly lace with a lace train. Her veil was of lily of the valley with a juliet cap and double tiered finger length. Her flowers were orchids surrounded by baby breath. She was attended by Nancy Nielson, maid of honor, and a sister, Cherlyn Lynn. HostP"S to the serving was Phyllis Whiting. They wore dresses of lavender sheer with an empire waist. Their flowers were white daisies. Best man duties were performed per-formed by David R. Mendenhall. Mother of the bride wore lavendar lace, street langth dress while the groom's mother wore a dress of yellow chiffon, street length. They wore an orchid corsage.. Greeting guests were Mr. and Mrs. Grant S. Thorn and Mr. and Mrs. Howard Maycock. At the guest register were sisters of the bride, Mrs. Robert Slack and Mrs. Robert Groesbeck. In the gift room were Katie Strong and Claudia Holdaway. Serving were Lisa Clegg, Liz Ann Parry, Susan Robert- son, Becky Brinkerhoff, Annette Ann-ette Meecham and Kristine Dinsdale. The wedding cake was three tiered with a wedding bell at the top and decorated with lily of the valley. An open house will be held In Las Vegas June 7 at the home of the groom's parents for the newlyweds. They will reside in Las Vegas for the summer returning to continue their studies at BYU this fall. |
