Show Swimmers given swards at dinner, program Swimmers, parents, coaches and other interested personnel were in attendance at the BYU Dolphins swimming team dinner din-ner at Wilkinson Center, on Thursday of last week. A program pro-gram followed dinner, at which Lawrence Lynn presided. Coach Cryer spoke praising the swimmers swim-mers who come from various parts of the county, and encouraged en-couraged them to continue their efforts. He then introduced intro-duced the c hairman of the Board of Governors, Mrs. Lucille Lu-cille Peterson. Members of the Board of Governors were then introduced by Mrs. Peterson as follows: Vern Bocutt, vice chairman; Keith Robinson, secretary; Dr. " Fred Jackman, treasurer; Mrs. Nettie Dranny, Dr. Richard Black, Dr. William Sorenson, Mrs. Dick Hansen, Mrs. Carll Rossussen, Mrs. F. Lee Miner. Brent Bentley entertained with magician acts; Mrs. Skip Steimle, vocal solos and she and Skip presented stunts. Later La-ter Coach Skip presented awards to the various swimmers. swim-mers. Kim Black received a special trophy for starting at the top and remaining in that position. Mark Peterson presented the coach with a gift of appreciation apprecia-tion from all the swimmers. |
