Show SHS "Senior of the Week' I I'w ' -r--- n I Our last "Senior of the Week" is John Harding, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Leon Harding, 136 North 1600 West, Mapleton. John has exhibited diversified diversi-fied interests during his school years and has excelled in all. During his sophomore year, he was a member of the Future Farmers of America organization. organiza-tion. He served the United Nations Na-tions Club as president for the past two years. This year, he participated on the track team. During the first semester, he was editor of the school paper. John's editorials were always informat i v e and stimulated student interest. He is a lab assistant as-sistant for the chemistry department de-partment and takes advanced placement English. He has maintained a 3.79 grade point average and will be graduating graduat-ing with high honors. John has applied to West Point and has received word John Harding that his admission is pending. He was selected as one of twelve candidates for this position po-sition from over six hundred applicants. The senior class is proud of John and we wish him the best of luck. Due to limited time and space, the high school has been unable to honor many deserving deserv-ing seniors. They would like to thank members of the senior class who have worked so dil-igetly dil-igetly throughout their school years to further class and school projects. |
