Show Cultural Arts honors retiring officers Cultural Arts Club members held the final meeting of the year Wednesday at the home of Cora Ellis, in the form of a retiring officers party. Dorothy Christensen and Leah Crandall were assisting hotesses. LaVern Larsen, retiring president, pres-ident, thanked club members and co-workers and turned the gavel over to Leah Crandall. Each new officer was presented with a rose and the retiring officers of-ficers with a bronze vase. Beth Parker, secretary, read the financial report and Louise Clyde, retiring vice president thanked co-officers and members mem-bers for a fine year. The evening concluded with visiting and a nicely arranged luncheon. Plans for a summer party in June were also discussed dis-cussed by the group. Most humans could improve their minds by doing more listening lis-tening and less talkng. |
