Show Legion outlines annual meeting The 48th annual department convention of the American Legion Le-gion will be held at Ogden, June 3, 4, and 5. Disttnguihed guests attending attend-ing convention will be the National Na-tional President of The American Ameri-can Legion Auxiliary, Mrs. Walter Glynn of Iowa; National Nation-al Vice Commander, William Gailbraith of Nebraska. Governor Gov-ernor Calvin L. Rampton is also al-so scheduled to appear before the convention. Of the many resolutions which, will be brought before the convention, the one which will receive the most attention will be the resolution asking that eligibility to membership in the American Legion be extended ex-tended to the Veteras of Vietnam. The opening general session will be held at the Baker Merrill Mer-rill Post Home, 2408 Adams Avenue, on June 3 at 7:0,0 p.m. A full schedule of events is outlined with the election of new department officers, Suday June 5.
