Show First Ward on top in Kolob; games continue With only four more nights of play left in the Kolob Stake M Men race interest is centering on the second place race since First has virtually sewed up the top spot. Three teams are tied for second sec-ond including Sixth, Twelfth, and Eleventh. One of these three teams will be dropped from this position tonight when Twelfth and Sixth square off in the 9 o'clock game. First will not have any trouble with Second in the 7 p.m. contest, and Eleventh should take Mapleton Ma-pleton Second in the 8 o'clock game tonight. Saturday, Jan. 22, Mapleton Second meets Sixth, Eleventh plays the big game with First at 8 and Mapleton and Second play at 9. Week's results Last Thursday, Eleventh swamped Mapleton 66-34 with Gardner getting 24. Curtis 11 and Miller 9. Murray with 12, Jensen with 11 and Bills with 7 led the losers. First was upset by Sixth 47-50 for the first loss this season. Palfreyman hit 15, Sheffield 13, Cherrington 9 and Anderson 8 to lead the winners The Alvey brothers were top scorers for First with top hitting hit-ting 23 and Ron 15. Twelfth won over Mapleton Second by forfeit. Saturday night First beat Twelfth 59-49. Ron Alvey got 23, Felix 12 and Tom Alvey 9 for the winners. Bird with 13 and Roundy with 10 led the losers. Mapleton lost to Sixth 40-74. Cherrington with 20, Shtffield with 17, Anderson with 14 and Palfreyman with 10 topped the Sixth scorers. Jensen with 23 and Bills with 10 led the losers. los-ers.
