Show Dinner honors matron on 81st birthday Honoring Mrs. Emma LaDell B. Hone on the occasion of her 81st birthday, members of her family were entertained at v f r " I ' : i . t Mrs. Emma B. Hone, honored hon-ored with family dinner on occasion of her 81st birthday. a dinner Saturday evening, at the home of Leo Hone 392 No. 100 W. Forty-six relatives were in attendance. Mrs. Hone was born Jan. 17, 1885, in Springville, a daughter daugh-ter of Frank and Mary Ann Herbert Beardall and has lived in this city most of her life. She was married to George W. Hone, July 23, 1902, at Springville and they lived in Benjamin for a short time on a farm. Later, they moved to Eureka, where Mr. Hone mined. They moved back to Benjamin for a year and then to Springville in 1906, residing at 202 West Fourth North. Mr. Hone died October 23, 1951. They were parents of eight sons and daughters including twins. The twins died as babies ba-bies and a son George Fay Hone passed away November 25, 1965. Living are Lewis Hone of Denver, Colorado; Mrs. Kenneth Ken-neth W. (Velma) Law of Po-catello, Po-catello, Idaho; Leo Hone, Springville; Mrs. Arthur L. (Vera) Shepherd and Mrs. Mark J. (LaVern) Sheeley both of Orem. There are 27 grandchildren grand-children and 67 great grandchildren. |
