Show Train hits auto, driver escapes Mrs. John A. (Maurine) Canto, 27, South Main Street, was returned to her home Tuesday, from a Spanish Fork hospital, where she was taken tak-en following an auto-train collision. col-lision. She suffered lacerations to her head and legs but luckily luck-ily escaped more serious injury. The car was completely demolished. de-molished. The accident occurred Sunday Sun-day afternoon at the railroad crossing, on the road going west from the Evergreen Cemetery. Cem-etery. The car was tossed from the crossing and came to rest in a nearby ditch. Mrs. Canto said she was attempting at-tempting to shift the gears in the car and didn't see the train. |
