Kindred, married recently re-cently in Logan Temple; honored at reception, open house. New Mr., Mrs. Kent L. Kindred make home here, attend BYU A highlight of mid-winter nuptial news was the marriage of Miss Janice Gregory, daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. Otto J. Gregory of Preston, Idaho, and Kent L. Kindred, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred L. Kindred of Springville. The marriage took place Dec. 17, in the Logan Temple and the same evening, a reception was given at Preston. Following Follow-ing the temple ceremony, parents par-ents of the groom hosted a wedding breakfast at the Bluebird, in Logan. Open house was held in Springville Fourth-Tenth Fourth-Tenth Ward, December 22. The bride chose for her wedding wed-ding attire a lace over satin, Mrs. Alice Hill of Payson, grandmother of the bride was an honored guest. The wedding party stood before be-fore tall white pillars with red satin draped between large white wedding bells and twinkle lights were hidden in drapes of net. Greeting guests, were Mr. and Mrs. W. Allan Danielson and Mr. and Mrs. Jay Gregory. Greg-ory. Colleen and Kay Daniel-son Daniel-son were at the guest book. Mrs. Dora Cloward, Mrs. Mae Porter and Mrs. Melda Hanks arranged the gifts assisted as-sisted by Nelda Danielson, gift bearer. Presiding over the buffet ta- ble was Mrs. Boyd Kindred, while Carolyn Johnson, Susan Ransom and Merlene Hill served. ser-ved. The couple honeymooned in in northern Idaho and are now making a home in Springville, while both continue their education edu-cation at Brigham Young University. designed with empire waist, long tapered satin sleeves and scooped neckline. A seed-pearl crown held a shoulder-length veil of illusion with matching lace trim. Her bouquet was a white orchid surrounded with holly and berries and green satin ribbon. Attending the bride were Utahna Shumway, maid of honor; Donna LeFevre, La-Dawn La-Dawn Bennett and Lana Woodward Wood-ward while Karen Danielson was junior bridesmaid and Ann Kindred, flower girl. Their dresses were red cotton dacron with empire waists, short sleeves and scooped neckline with ribbon down the front. They carried white fur muffs on which were attached red and white carnations. Boyd Kindred was best man for his brother and Don Roy-lance Roy-lance and Keith Sumsion were ushers. Mrs. Gregory and Mrs. Kindred Kin-dred chose soft green colored gowns for the wedding, pinning a white orchid to the shoulder. |
