Show Adult education announces more courses Adult education courses are proving popular this year in Springville with instruction being be-ing given in a variety of subjects. sub-jects. A furniture refinishing and interior decorating class is being be-ing taught by Mrs. Rae Baxter Bax-ter in the Woodwork room at the junior high school, beginning begin-ning Monday, January 24. Those interested are urged to be there at 7 p.m., prepared to begin the class. Modern math A modern math class is also being taught at the junior high, by Ralph Snelson in Room 29, beginning Thursday, January 27, at 7:30 p.m. There is a $3 fee for this class. More information may be secured by contacting Mrs. Harold Johnson, PTA adult education ed-ucation chairman, or Myrtle Childs, representing the teachers. tea-chers. Type class Registration for a type class will be held Monday at 7 p.m., at the senior high school type room, announces Mrs. Paul Hjorth, chairman. The ladies physical education and exercise class . has now been divided and there is room for a few more women in each class. One is held at 6 p.m., and another at 7:30 p.m., Wednesdays, Wed-nesdays, at the high school ladies la-dies gym. There is a $3 fee for the 12-class course. Ladies interested should come dressed for the activity. |
