Show Among Springville Club women wo-men attending the UFWC convention con-vention in Ogden last weekend, were: Mrs. Harold Christensen, Mary Schwartz, Mrs. Arthur Reid, Blanch Ostlund, Mrs. Harrison Conover, Mrs. Martin Conover, Mrs. Mark Johnson. Mrs. Christensen and Mrs. Schwartz each .took part on a conservation panel. Meetings were at the Ben Lomond Hotel. i3revlllei . . . Mrs. Blanch Ostlund left this week for a three week's vacation vaca-tion trip to visit family members mem-bers and friends in Albuquerque, Albuquer-que, N. M. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Child enjoyed en-joyed a visit last week from friends whom their son, Ricky, met while on his mission in New Plymouth, New Zealand. Mr. and Mrs. Todd Prout and daughter, Mary, stayed two days and a night with the Child family. They came by plane to San Francisco, where they rented a car for a six month's tour of the United States. They plan to camp much of the time. They expect ex-pect to go from ISan Francisco to England to spend a year and from there to India for a tour of that area. Mr. and Mrs. Child took them to the BYU campus and other places of interest in the area. Mrs. Jean Paxman has returned re-turned to Springville from a six month's stay in California. She visited her son, Frank, and family at Concord, and with a daughter, Emily, and family at Pleasant Hill; also with Mr. and Mrs. Ed Sidwell at Shell Beach. Enroute home, she spent a short time with her sisters, Mrs. Mary Wright and Maude Langston at Hurricane. |
