Show Forest ruling on fires set The state forester announced this week that beginning June 1, and continuing until Oct. 31, it will be unlawful for anyone to set a fire on trees, shrubs, brush, grass, cultivated crop or underbrush in any of the forest areas within the state of Utah without a written permit. per-mit.
