Show Mrs. John Blanchard enjoyed a. visit from four of her gr-M sons and two girl frienda who ivere her dinner guests and spent the day Sunday. Bruce Packard, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bliss .R. Packard, has been called to serve in the Northern Mexican LDS Mission, Mis-sion, from the Third Ward. His farewell will be Sunday night at 6:45 p.m., in the ward chapel. chap-el. He enters the mission home June 7. 'Scheduled as speakers at the farewell are David Sargent and Fred Smith. Bishop Calvin F. Packard will give remarks as will the missionary's parents and the , missionary will respond. re-spond. There will be a piano solo by Mrs. Maurice Bird and an accordian selection by Blair Packard. Dennis Packard will give the invocation and Russell Fullmer, the benediction. Prelude and postlude music will be by Oleah Sargent. Others serving missions from the Third Ward, are: Robert Christensen, Florida; James Cragun, North British; Sam Metcalf, Southern Far East; Steven Wolsey, Scottish; Wayne S. Johnson, North Argentina; Ar-gentina; Richard Conover and wife, stake. In 1964 more than 200,000 Americans died of stroke, which results from interruption interrup-tion of the blood supply to the brain. Terms used to describe different kinds of strokes include in-clude cerebral thrombosis, cerebral ce-rebral embolism, cerebral vascular vas-cular occlusion and cerebral hemorrhage, according to the Utah Heart Association. |
