Show Program on France enjoyed by club Pari Passu Club members held the last meeting of the season at the home of Mrs. D. LaRell Johnson. Mrs. Leonard Zobell and Mrs. Willard Ost-lund Ost-lund were assisting hostesses. An around the world theme was climaxed with a visit to "Paris in the Spring." The recreation room was cleverly decorated to look like a French sidewalk cafe using red and white checkered table cloths, awnings, appropriate stret sings, potted geraniums, flower carts, and colorful travel trav-el posters. The buffet table was lighted with candles as were the serving tables. Mrs. Howard Maycock told of her visit to Paris and read The national trade-mark law dates back to 1881. It has since been revised several times. "The Last Time I Saw Paris." Jessie Johnson dressed as a gamin entertained with folk ; songs accompanying herself on the guitar. Colored motion pictures of France concluded the evening. I Mrs. Roy D. Johnson, out- going president, was presented a gift of appreciation by the I members. Eighteen members and two guests were present. |
