Sumsion of American Ameri-can Fork, formerly of Spring-ville Spring-ville and a son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Sumsion of this .city, has gone to Washington D. C, under un-der the sponsorship of Geneva Steel, in the interest of an applied ap-plied patent. Mr. Sumsion invented a money mon-ey saving device in the process of making steel some time ago. It has been tried out at the Geneva plant and as a result steel officials are interested in having it patented. Mr. Bumsion expected to visit vis-it eastern branches of U. S. Steel. He will also make stops in New York City and Chicago, after leaving Washington, D.C. Employed in the engineering division of U. S. Steel, he is a graduate of Springville High School and attended the University Uni-versity of Mexico at Albuquerque Albuquer-que and the University of Utah. |
