They should play, work, study, go to church, go on outings, have family nights and create a wholesome family life. There needs to be more interest in-terest in and love for teenagers teenag-ers from their parents. Parents Par-ents need to show a willingness to ". . . talk over the problems prob-lems of youth." Teenagers want more opportunities to confide in their parents. "We grow up too fast." There are too many privileges for early dating and early use of automobiles Parents need to assume more leadership "Put father back at the head of the family." Parents Par-ents should set a good example for harmonious family life. There needs to be a better difinition of home duties. "We want to know what is expected of us." Parents are ". . . justified in setting hours for teenagers to return from dates." Teenage marriages are too often the result of youth who are "trying to escape an unhappy un-happy home life." They think it is the ". . . easy way out." They think it ". . . solves their problems" Early dating and the use of automobiles "... also contributes to early marriages." mar-riages." There is a " . .need for a high school class in courtship, marriage and parenthood taught before the senior year." The senior year is often too late today. Youth speak on education and these are a few things they say: Something needs to be done to help students learn how to study effectively. There is a need for a wider variety of classes. We need smaller classes, more individual attention and guidance and ability grouping. Teachers should not teach out of their special fields. Teachers Tea-chers should keep up-to-date and select up-to-date textbooks. text-books. Academic and scholastic achievement needs greater stress and recognition. Schools need more vocational vocation-al education and more vocational voca-tional guidance and counseling. We need some type of cooperation coop-eration between teachers so that all teachers will not assign as-sign all of their home assignments assign-ments on the same night, and then fail to assign homework on other nights. Some sort of cooperation between the school and other community groups who schedule sched-ule out of school functions is needed. Our homework and study requirements conflict with too many church, school and community after-school functions. Automobiles at school detract de-tract from school work. Better equipment is needed, especially science equipment. Frozen purple plum puree Select fully ripe plums, wash, pit and cut in halves. In saucepan, place 1 cup water to each 4 quarts of fruit.
