Show Services held here for Bessie Warren Funeral services were held Wednesday in the Second- Eighth Ward Chapel, for Mrs. Bessie Bowen Warren, 82, who died Sunday, Oct. 11, at her home 588 South Second East, ! after a long illness. Bishop Morgan Thomas of the Second Ward officiated. Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery, directed by Wheeler Mortuary . Mrs. Warren was born Sept. 5, 1882, in Spanish Fork, a daughter of William P. and Ruth Jones Bowen. She was married to Amos W. Warren, Aug. 1, 1899, in Provo. He died in 1920. They lived in Hayden, Utah, 15 years after their marriage. She later lived in Spanish Fork and in California and has lived in Springville since 1953. She was a member of the LDS Church, serving in various auxiliary organizations. Survivors include the following follow-ing sons and daughters: Mrs. Jack (Thelma) Rupp, Reno, Nevada; Mrs. H. E. (Kfma) Rosen, Pasadena, Calif.; Mrs. Lloyd (Betty) Rossie, Diablo, Calif.; Ferris J. Warren, Ma-pleton; Ma-pleton; Elmo L. Warren, San Mateo, Calif.; Melvin W. Warren, War-ren, Millbrae, Calf.; Marvin F. Warren, Springville; Earl F. Warren, Walnut Creek, Calif.; 29 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren; one brother, Foster D. Bowen, Spanish Fork. |
