Show Cougar hunters go for first win of season BYU's Cougars may not be out in the hills hunting come Saturday, but they will be seeking to break a record established es-tablished against them by the University of Pacific when the two teams open fire on the grid field of the new BYU Stadium. Sta-dium. Kickoff time will be 1:30. The Cougars have never beaten the Pacific Tigers since their series opened in 1958. The Cats dropped a 7-6 decision de-cision to Colorado State at Fort Collins last Saturday for their fourth straight loss. Saturday, Sat-urday, the Cougars will be ready to go-for-broke against Pacific although they will be without the services of Phil Brady, two-year letterman, who was injured in the last game. Linebacker Mel Olson was also injured and may not see too much action Saturday. University of Pacific has only on-ly one win to its credit this season while dropping three contests. |
