Show Legion all-stars tie Provo in 10-10 game Sat. Provo's American Legion baseball team, and the District Four All Stars battled for three and one half hours Saturday Sat-urday night at Lehi, then wound up play with a 10-10 tied score at the end of eight innings. Johnnie Briskey started on the mound for Provo. Two hits one error, two walks and then District Four All Stars had their first run. They tallied five times in the second inning before Steve Boysen came to the rescue and managed to get the side out. The All Stars loaded the bases in the top of the third hut Ken Crosby took the mound and a pair of fine fielding plays and a strikeout avoided further scoring. Crosby Cros-by pitched a fine game for three innings. Dave Clegg took over and was battered for two runs in the seventh unci eighth innings to tie the score after Provo had its big splurge with fifth and sixth inning sprees. Except for the second inning in-ning Provo was helpless at the plate as Doug Bringhurst, of Springville ; and Jerry Smith, Lehi, kept the first half leaders lead-ers well in hand. In the fifth the All Stars called on Manuel Martinez of Orem, and Provo took to him like . a country cousin, scoring four runs to knot the count at 6-6.
