Show Utah psf masters set convention events In Springville nent week Postmaster General to speak at four-day meet July 14-18 The Utah Chapter of the National Association of Postmasters Post-masters of the United States will hold their 28th annual convention in Springville, beginning be-ginning next Tuesday, July 14, and continuing through Wednesday, Wed-nesday, Thursday and Friday. The meetings will be held at the junior high school, 165 South 700 East, announces Bliss R. Packard, Springville Postmaster Postmaster General John A. Gronouski of Washington, f: - " - . ' :'" D. C, is coming to the convention con-vention and will give an address ad-dress at the Thursday evening banquet in the Springville Stake House. Approximately 250 postmasters and guests are expected to attend. Registration for the convention conven-tion will be Tuesday form 6 until 7 p.m., and an opening social will follow at the junior high school. Colored slides will be featured. The Wednesday morning session ses-sion beginning after registration registra-tion from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m., will adjourn at noon and a cafeteria lunch will be served. Meetings will continue Wednesday Wed-nesday afternoon. Wednesday evening, beginning begin-ning at 6 p.m., there will be a steak bake in Kelly s Grove and later the group will assemble as-semble at the junior high school, where the Springville Musettes will give a program of music by Peter DeRose. The meetings will continue through Thursday and that evening, Mrs. Bliss Packard, wife of the Springville postmaster, post-master, has arranged a special program for wives and husbands hus-bands of postmasters at the high school art building. The Thursday evening banquet ban-quet featur'ng an address by the Postmaster General, -will be a highlight of the 4-day ' convention.
