Show TYjapieton lfewi A number of Labies were blessed in fast meeting on Sunday. All of the babies this month were girls. They were the daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Verl Davies, Mr. and Mrs. Dick Nielson, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Barker and Mr. and Mrs. Perry Harrison. Irwin Thorn has been in the Utah Valley Hospital this week for treament of infection in his hand. The infection was from a nail wound. Mr. and Mrs. Malcolm Anderson And-erson and family and Mrs. Thomas Anderson of Salt Lake City, visited with Mr. and Mrs. Keith Wiscombe Sunday Sun-day afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Bush-nell Bush-nell and children enjoyed a nice vacation trip to Yellowstone Yellow-stone Park last week, spending about five days in the park. The Gaynotes of the Mapleton Maple-ton Second Ward had breakfast break-fast at Whiting Forest Camp in Maple Canyon, Monday morning. RaNae Snyder and Bonnie Williams, leaders of the group, were the chaper-ones. chaper-ones. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Harrison Har-rison had guests from Chico, California, Saturday evening. Mrs. Harrison's cousin and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Lafe Rollins stopped by for a visit. It was announced in sacrament sacra-ment meeting that Merrill Hales, son of Mr. and Mrs. Reed Hales has been called to serve in he Australian Mission. Mis-sion. He will leave some time in August. Mr. and Mrs. Martin Per-rerro Per-rerro spent Sunday in Carbon County visiting with relatives and friends. In Helper, they visited with their sons. Tom and Pete and their families. Later in the day, they went to Price to see several friends. They made the trip with two grandsons from Salt Lake City. |
