Mr. and Mrs. Robert Harrison Harri-son and son, David, of San Lorenzo, California, have been visiting with his mother, Mrs. George Harrison and other relatives and friends in Springville. Robert also enjoyed enjoy-ed a fishing trip while here. David returned home to school in his private plane and his mother followed two days later by jet. Robert went on to Gallup, N. M., where he is working two weeks as inspector inspec-tor general in the Department of the Army. 3Ir. and Mrs. Howard Hyer (Marilyn Clegg) and three sons of Quincy, Wash, have returned home after a visit in Springville with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Clegg. They were house guests of her sister and brother-in-law. Dr. and Mrs. R. K. Miner. The Miner's son, Alan, who has been working at Quincy, returned re-turned home with them to attend at-tend the Scout Jamboree and Jane Miner went back with them for a summer vacation. Mr. and Mrs. Bliss Packard and three boys, Blair, Richard Rich-ard and Kent have returned home from New YorK, where they met another son and brother Dennis Packard at the Kennedy International Airport Air-port as he arrived home from a mission in Scotland. They all attended the World's Fair and many other places of interest in-terest on Long Island, N. Y. They also went to Washington D. C, for a sight-seeing tour and visited at Williamsburg and Jamestown. Among the many places of interest visited visit-ed enroute home were Carthage Car-thage and Nauvoo, 111., also Hannibal and Independence, Mo., and , Denver, Colorado. They made the trip by car and attended a number of LDS Church meetings in various large cities, and were gone about three weeks. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Allan of Renton, Washington, are spending a two-week's vacation vaca-tion with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Evon Averett and Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Allan and other relatives and friends here. They plan to return home this weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Cran-dall Cran-dall entertained at a patio party at their home Monday evening complimentary to Dr. and Mrs. Ronald Frost and family visiting here from Arlington, Ar-lington, Virginia. Other guests included Mr. and Mrs. Norman Frost, Mrs. Lynn Crandall and families. |
