Show Services held for mother of local woman Funeral services were held Monday in Spanish Fork, for Mrs. Geneva Huff, 82, mother of Mrs. Merle (Oleah) Sargent of this city. She passed away Thursday, July 2, 1964, of complications following a fall. She was born April 3, 1882 in Spanish Fork, a daughter of Wellington Sr. and Mary E. Warner Wood. She received her education in the Spanish Fork schools. She married I. William Huff, February 25, 1903 in the Salt Lake Temple. She was an active member of the LDS Church and active in the Relief Society, serving as a visiting teacher for many years. Surviving are her husband of Spanish Fork; three sons and two daughters: Donald, Arnold (Bud) and Arvil Huff, all of Spanish Fork; Mrs. Merle (Oleah) Sargent, of Springville; Mrs. David Gar-bett, Gar-bett, Eureka; 18 grandchildren; grandchild-ren; 24 great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. T. D. (Lettie) Nelson, Vale, Oregon. |
