Show Funeral held Tuesday for A. K. Rasmussen Funeral services were conducted con-ducted Tuesday at the Wheeler Wheel-er Mortuary for Aaron K. Rasmussen, 70, resident of Springville, who died Wednesday, Wednes-day, July 1, 1964, in an Ash-ton, Ash-ton, Idaho hospital, of a lung ailment. The Jehovah's Witnesses Wit-nesses officiated at the services. serv-ices. Burial was in the Evergreen Ever-green Cemetery. Mr. Rasmussen had spent the past three weeks in Idaho with his son. He was born June 7, 1894. in Park City, where he spent his early life. He married Agnes Ag-nes May Hicks in Salt Lake City. She died in 1961. He had worked as an electrician elec-trician at Mare Island Navy Ship Yards in California and also as a millwright at Geneva Works of U.S. Steel before his retirement. The family lived in Springville for a number of years. Surviving are one son, Or-an Or-an K. Rasmussen of Ashton, Idaho; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren also two brothers, Osmond Rasmussen Rasmus-sen of Tooele and James Rasmussen Ras-mussen of Park City. |
