The Rams host Milford tonight. By MIKE CANNON Sports Writer KANAB It's hard to find a bright spot when you lose, but there was definetty " one ' bright' spot for the Parowan-'Rarrfs in thetr."57-53 loss to Kanab here last week, and that was the fact that the Rams actually played a "medium" game and weren't way up or way down. The Rams have been a lot of things this season, many of them good. But the one thing they have not been is consistent. They look like the Boston Celtics one night and the Utah Jazz the next; and that's quite a contrast. Ram coach Mark Heppler commented on the level play of his team, despite the loss: "Hopefully we're getting on an even keel before region. We went to the boards really well. We won the rebound battle but lost the game." Heppler was able to find some solace in the fact that his team played a consistent game, though he wasn't thrilled to take a Region 12 loss. "It wasn't meant to be," explained Heppler. "We got within one point at the end. They really played well. They got most of their points from outside and had very balanced scoring." Parowan, despite playing fairly well overall, d didn't shoot well against the Cowboys. The Rams hit only 18-61 from the field for a very cool 29 percent. |
