Show FHA-HERO week honors new born baby be named Carlyle Arthur Bills. Local chapter members presented the baby and mother with a gift. During their visit to the hospital, members shared with the mother and hospital staff the purposes and goals of the statewide peer-education project called "Healthy Babies: Chance or Choice?" Improving the health of the next generation is the eoal of this exonerative CEDAR CITY - The Cedar High School Chapter of the Future Homemakers of America recently recognized the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Bills as the first healthy bubv born here during the National FHA-HERO week, Feb. 7-13. The baby was born at the Valley View Medical Center on Feb. 7 at 5 p.m., weighing in at ten pounds and measuring 22 inches long. The babv will project of 'Future Homemakers of America and the March of Dimes. The most important ingredient of the project is the involvement of youth, teens reaching teeas with information about how to give children a healty start in life, preventing and coping w ith the problems of teenage pregnancy and developing sensitivity to the responsibilities of parenthood. |
