Show TV show to exnlainhow to fill out tax forms i benefits are available to older Americans. Viewers of "Your Tax Return: The Bottom Line on Improving Your Form" will learn about some commonly made errors on tax returns and i some tips on choosing a tax return preparer. The program will also cover information on how to if make payments of estimated tax and when to change one's withholding. PROVO-The Internal Revenue Service and KBYU-TV will make filling out a Federal income tax return almost as easy as watching TV by presenting "Your Tax Return: The bottom Line on Improving Your Form" Sunday, from noon to 3 p.m. Robert Guillaume, the star of the television series "Benson" will host the program. "Your Tax Return: The Bottom Line on Improving Your Form" will take viewers step-by-step through the Form 1040A as well as review Form 1040 and Schedules A and B. Viewers may find it convenient and helpful to fill out their J form as they watch the program. Special accommodations for the hearing-impaired will be made. IRS Salt Lake City District taxpayer assistors will staff five phone lines during the program and toll-free phone numbers will flash on the screen so viewers in Utah can call in with their tax questions. A panel of IRS specialists will also answer frequently asked questions such as what changes have taken place because of the new tax law, how to claim the Earned Income Credit, when income averaging can be used to save money, and what tax |
