Show i 1 1 ' : 1 sweetheart Eulala Tophatn, on July 20, 1922, in Parowan. The marriage was later solemnized in the St. George LDS Temple on May 21, 1923. He was manager of the livestock for Southern Utah State College. He was also a member of the LDS Church, working in the Parowan Stake Genealogical program for many years. He was also a temple worker in the St. George Temple. He was a member of the Parowan American Legion Post No. 20. Survivors include his wife; two sons: Joseph C. of Salt Lake City and Paul T. of Henderson, Nev.; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; Twenty Or ton one brother and one sister: Almon Hills Orton of Parowan and Mrs. Maggie Page of Logandale, Nev. Funeral services were Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Parowan 4th LDS Ward Chapel, with Allen Adams conducting. Jackie Robinson and Barbara Batt rendered the prelude and postlude music for the services. A. Hill Ortori gave the family prayer at the Boyer Mortuary. The invocation was offered by Bruce Matheson, followed by an eulogy by Norma Orton Lamoreaux. The ward choir sang "I know that My Redeemer Lives" and "O My Father". Darrell Mathews was the speaker, with Howard Knight singing "Going , Home." ' The benediction was offered by Kenneth Topham. Charles Topham gave the dedicatory prayer in the Parowan City Cemetery. The Parowan American Legion Post No. 20 gave the military rites. Services were under the direction of Boyer Southern Utah Mortuary. TWENTY TAYLOR ORTON, 86, died April 23, 1981, in the Valley View Medical Center.
