Show Kanarraville By CARMA WILLIAMS Record Correspondent Velma and Sherald Peterson from Boulder City, Nev. spent a few days here at their summer home getting ready to move for the summer. Mrs. Shirlee Reeves and children Delbert, Ellen and Eldon spent the day in St. George visiting and shopping. Spencer and Herma Truman, Torry and Judy Gubler, and Berta Williams left Friday for Nevada and California. Berta stopped at . Las Vegas to spend 3 days there with her son Joe. The Trumans and Gulbers went on to Rosemead, Calif, to visit family and friends. Mrs. Roberta Eastman spent Friday through Sunday with her daughter and granddaughter Ellen and Liberty Williams. Jeff was spending the weekend back-packing at v Kolob Canyons. Lorraine Cornelius and daughter Tonya traveled to Lake Tahoe, Nev. for the marriage of her sister Diane Stewart and Russell Munford who were married April 21. A reception was held in Enterprise, Utah April 25. Clifford and LuNetta Peterson from Torrence, Calif, visited briefly with their friend Tom Smith. Mr. Virgil Davis and his wife, Belle, traveled to Salt Lake City last week where he entered the L.D.S. Hospital for an implant in his eye. We are happy to report he is home and doing fine. Judy and Torry Gubler and son Ricky attended the baseball game in St. George where their son Bryce was playing for the Cedar City High School team. CHS won 11 to 3. Joe Leeder left Sunday for Las Vegas where he went to keep a Dr. appointment ap-pointment for a check-up and some tests. Visiting with Lillie and Willard Williams were Lillie's sisters and brother: BettieSalvagni, Las Vegas; Phebe Mosley, Washington, Utah; Geneva Stapley, Chester, Utah; Blaine Prislerey, Gunnison, Utah. They were here to visit with their mother, Zena Prislerey, who was in Valley View Medical Center. They all left Monday to take their mother to Salt Lake City for surgery to remove her gall bladder. Mrs. Alenna Berry was taken to Valley View Medical Center emergency for medical treatment but was later released. Devere and Nedra Pollock from Pinehurst, Idaho visited briefly with their aunt and uncle, Lena Williams and Cecil Parker. The Pollock's were returning to their home in Idaho from California. Mrs. Mabel Williams returned home last week after spending 2 months in Parowan with her daughter and son-in-law, Leona and Jack Dalton. Lynn and Ella Reeves spent all day Tuesday in St. George with their son and daughter-in-law Boyd and Clara Reeves and children. Mr. Bill Limb from Buck Horn Flat spent a few d days here with his . sister and brother-in-law, Carol and Norman Murdock. Miss Holly Williams and boy friend from BYU spent Saturday here with her grandmother |
