Show Elaine South wick married in Hawaii Former Cedar City resident Mrs, Elaine C. Southwick now a resident of Provo, was married to Leo G. Merideth of American Fork in ceremonies held in January. Announcement of the marriage was made by her children, Mrs. Donna S. Beckstead, Edward H. Southwick, Richard C. Southwick and Paul R. Southwick. Meredith is the former president and general manager of the Chipman Mercantile Company of American Fork, and is presently affiliated with a realty company. Mrs. Southwick formerly taught in the English and Speech department ' and was Dean of Women at the College of Southern Utah, now Southern Utah State College. The couple exchanged vows in a ceremony performed in the LDS Temple in Hawaii. The marriage is the culmination of a renewed friendship that had its beginning when both were sophomores at Brigham Young University years ago. The Merediths will live in Provo. |
