Team continued from page 34 "Last year was pretty brutal," said Al Givens, theWSUWomen's Volleyball head coach. "Our number-one goal this year is to improve with every game and make the Big Sky Conference Tournament." The marketing department is also doing what ever they can do to. help the volleyball team accomplish this. 'All the home games and a few of the away games this season are going to be on Weber State University's radio station 88.1," said Jeff Tingey, WSU assistant marketing director. "We want to get more fans interested in women's volleyball and this will help." The volleyball team is doing different things to help promote their sport. They will be throwing out T-shirts to the crowd during the games that say "Ace in your face" for every ace that the team gets. They are also looking into getting with some organizations "We want to get more fans interested in women's volleyball and this will help.' "We had a lot of injuries to our older players last year," Givens said.
