McBride fought his way in Utah to an 88-63 overall record. This was the second most wins by a coach in the history of Utah football. McBride appeared in six bowl games while at the University of Utah. McBride moved to the University of Kentucky in 2003, where he was the linebackers' coach for two years. McBride could not stay away from Utah for long: In 2005, he accepted the head coaching position at WSU. McBride will begin his season Saturday at Stewart Stadium.
