Dixie Reviewers Hold Meet Friday In Memorial Hall The Dixie Reviewers held their late April session last Friday afternoon in the McQuarrie Memorial Me-morial hall with Mrs. Ward Esplin and Mrs. Walter C. Pace as hostesses. host-esses. "The book, "Seven Days With Gandhi", by Louis Fischer, was re-! viewed by Mrs. Roxey S. Romney. I This is an intimate close-up of! the famous Indian leader whose j fasts and eccentricities are world! known. The book was made J doubly interested by the fact that! Mrs. Romney, during her four I months in Los Angeles was privileged privi-leged to attend the lecture given by the author and learn the story of his book and of his contact! with the Mahatma. I During her absence Mrs. Romney Rom-ney was employed part time in a large rental ilbrary and made many interesting contacts. She also attended the great ovation given Madam Chang-Kia-Chek and reported interestingly on that event.
