Show f Funeral Services Held In Orderville for Clarissa A. Hoyt Heaton ORDERVILLE, Utah. Funeral services were held in the Orderville Order-ville ward hall Thursday, April 22nd at 10 a. m., for Clarissa Amy Hoyt Heaton, 83, who died in St. George April 20th after an extended ex-tended illness. Born in Nephi, Utah, May 6, 1860, she moved to Orderville at an early age with her parents and became an outstanding character char-acter in that place, rearing a large family and doing much work in the church. Speakers at the service were Pres. Charles C. Heaton, Myron E. Roundy and Edward Carroll, all of whom paid tribute to this pioneer woman, telling of her courage, steadfastness, patience and faith, and telling of the work done by her father, Israel Hoyt, and his wife as pioneers of Orderville. Order-ville. Original sentiments were given by Lucy H. Esplin; musical reading read-ing composed by Lottie Hoyt was given by Amy H. Esplin; and personal per-sonal sentiments by Mrs. D. Wilson Wil-son Woodard of St. George. Music numbers included, "O, My Father", my the ward choir; vocal duet, "I'll Go Where Yqu Want Me To Go", by Leila and Florence Flor-ence Heaton and a duet by Flora May and Mary Dean, granddaughters grand-daughters of the deceased. Mrs. Heaton has made her home in St. George for the past several sev-eral years spending her time at Temple work as long as her health would permit, and making many friends. |
