Show ! Mrs. Jesse E. Easton, formerly of the Summit station, and making mak-ing her home now in Ontario, Calif., is guest this week of Dr. And Mrs. P. E. Harris. Mrs. Mary Higley arrived Sunday Sun-day morning from Grantsville to spend two weeks with her daughter, daugh-ter, Mrs. Hilton Jarvis, who is ill. She was accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Pollen and two children, Mrs. Milo Higley, Wallace Wal-lace Higley and the Misses Dorothy Dor-othy and Ruth Higley,' who re mained over Easter, returning home to Grantsville on Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Justin Lamb and family of Pioche, and Mrs. Glenn Crook of Santaquin, were Easter visitors at the home of their parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Cannon. Can-non. Mrs. Alice W. Milne, Mr. and Mrs. Vivian Milne and family and Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Milne and family motored to Zion National Park to spend Easter. Meldau and son, Donald, left Wednesday evening for their home in Pasadena, Calif., after spending a week here visiting vis-iting at the home of her sister, Mrs. E. R. Simpson. Mrs. Earl Page and son, Ron ald are visiting at the home of her sister, Mrs. Lee Weibel. Mrs. Fred Weibel, who has been visiting vis-iting at her son's home for the past month, returned to her home in Idaho on Thursday morning. L. Vern Thurber arrived Monday Mon-day from Provo to spend the week at Temple work, and visit with his cousin, Mrs. Ireta West-cott. West-cott. They visited the McQuarrie Memorial hall Monday afternoon, and expressed keen interest in the large exhibit. Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Neilson and children returned to their home at Eagle Rock, Calif., Sunday, after visiting for several days with Mr. and Mrs. John T. Neilson. Mrs. J. W. Pace entertained 18 friends at her home Wednesday afternoon, honoring Mrs. Jennie M. Clark, who is here from Los Angeles visiting. Pfc. Ovando Gubler who was home last week from his military post at Greenville, N, C, accompanied accom-panied his mother, Mrs. Henry Gubler, and his sister, Mrs. Rc-salba Rc-salba Fuller and daughter to St. George last Friday evening to attend the Dixie college dance revue presented by Miss Pauline Fuller, instructor. Mrs. Nettie K. Morris spent last Thursday over Sunday in Cedar City to visit her daughter-m-law, Mrs. Richard C. Morris and new grandson, Richard A. Morris. Miss Helen Gubler traveling saleswoman for Curtis Publishing Co., visited in St George and Santa Clara Wednesday, enroute from Nevada to her headquarters. Mrs. Merle Morris left Tuesday for Parowan where she will visit for several days with her sister, Mrs. Frank Mortensen. v. J- -X- w w Mrs. Erma Sorenson left Monday Mon-day for Enterprise to be with her aunt, Ida Alger, who suffered a stroke recently. Mrs. Ireta Westcott returned Monday from visiting in Richfield, where she visited her mother and daughter over the week end. Edward R. Snow, son of Mr. and Mrs. Rulon A. Snow, spent Saturday in Salt Lake City, where he took examinations at the Navy 1 cecruiting stations of the U. S. Naval reserve. B. F. Larson of Provo, who was here on high school business was guest over Friday of Mr. and Mrs. William Brooks. Mrs. Marcell Schmutz is spending spend-ing two weeks at .their ranch 'an the Arizona 'Strip. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Langston were St. George -visitors last .Saturday, .Sat-urday, from their ranch at Cane Beds. Mrs. Granl Woodbury of Hurricane Hurri-cane was a .business visitor in .St. George Wednesday. ?P w Mrs. John T. Neilson returned home last Thursday evening from Salt Lalse City -where she has heen for surgery at the L. D. S. hospital. She was .accompanied home by Mr. and Mrs. C. -G. Burton and children, Janet and Bobby of Salt Lake City, and Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Krebs and daughter. daugh-ter. Geraldine of Ogden. Mrs, Burton and Mrs. Krebs are her daughters. Mr. and Mrs. Dan Heaton and daughters, Leda, Vebna and Cher-ryl Cher-ryl stopped over in St. George last week .end on their way home to Reno, from attending the funeral fun-eral of Mr. Heaton's mother, Mrs Amy Heaton in Orderville, or. April 22nd. Mrs. W. B. Hansen spent the week end home with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Israel Pace. Miss Maume Whipple left Tues day morning for Los Angeles where she will give her lecture April 29 before the World Forum, University groups, according to plans.
