Show SPRINGDALE Mrs. Arnold Ruesch Reporter Ronald Christ ensen, who is confined con-fined to his bed with heart trouble, is showing slight improvement. Mrs. Lydia Hepworth of Idaho and Mrs. Rowena Carson of California Cali-fornia are here visiting relatives. Pvt. Anthony Gifford has returned re-turned from military service, from which he has been released. He has employment in St. George. Mrs. Partha Russell made a trip to Salt Lake City to visit her daughter. Mr. and Mrs. June Gifford and family, Darl Seegmiller and Grad-en Grad-en Johnson spent the week end home from Salt Lake City. Mrs. Erma Udell and small daughter have returned home from the Iron county hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Larkin Gifford and family, Mrs. Altheria Gifford, Mrs. Arnold Ruesch and Orlin Udell spent the past week in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Geneva Johnson spent the week in Las Vegas with her husband, hus-band, who is employed there. John Hall spent the week here visiting friends and relatives. A wedding reception was held Saturday night in the recreational hall for Mr. and Mrs. Gordon S. Bench. Many friends and relatives rela-tives attended from surrounding towns. The young couple plan to make their home in California. Mrs. Bench -is the former Miss Verdon Allred. Mr. and Mrs. Allen Hall and son, Glade, and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Erwin of Ogden were visitors here. A farewell party was held Friday Fri-day night for Mr. and Mrs. Tom Davis and family, who have been employed here for the past year. They left for New Mexico. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Eager and daughter, Jackie, made a business trip to California. |
