Show BUNKERVILLE, Nev. Mrs. Mary H. Leavitt Reporter Mrs. Selma H. Leavitt and son, wenaeii returned to their home in Homedale, Ida. Mrs. Mary A. Hafen accompanied them for an indefinite stay. Mr. and Mrs. Alfred, Hafen of Salt Lake City spent a few days here last week. They returned to Salt Lake City on Saturday. His mother Mrs. Ellen Hafen ac- companied them. A family dinner was enjoyed at the home of Mrs. Mary A. Hafen last Thursday. Those present were: Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Hafen, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Leavitt, Mrs! Selena H. Hafen and son, Wendell and Mrs. Ellen Hafen. . Albert Leavitt sold his interest inter-est in the dairy and his herd of twelve cows to Warren Hardy and Laurel Leavitt. Mariner Cox, Elmer Leavitt Moroni Waite and Alva Hunt went into northern Nevada to buy more dairy cows last week. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Huntsman and Mr. and Mrs. Howard Starr of St. George visited here on Easter Sunday. Miss Joan Leavitt Marries Miss Joan Leavitt was married to Meynard L. Weber, of Kelso, Calif., on April 24th at Las Veras Miss Leavitt is a daughter of Elmer Leavitt of Bunkerville. A reception was given in her honor on Saturday afternoon. Hostesses were Mrs. Rhoda L. Leavitt and Marion Leavitt. Among the many gifts presented the young couple were two beautiful beau-tiful quilts given to them by the bride's grandmother, Mary E. Leavitt. Mr. Weber is a railroad employee em-ployee and works near Kelso, where they will make their home for the present. |
