Show School Lunch To Be Available This Year By MILTON E. MOODY County School Superintendent At present it' is planned to have the school lunch available for at least the transported school children child-ren and may be able to extend it to others. The centers as now organized are: St. George, including in-cluding the Woodward, Dixie junior college, Elementary; Santa Clara and Hurricane, including the elementary ele-mentary and high schools. The price will be, we think as last year, approximately ten cents per person per day. If anyone is interested in turning turn-ing in fruit or vegetables for advance ad-vance credit or in some cases, for cash, we will appreciate your getting get-ting in touch with us as it is our intention to can some of this produce pro-duce for winter's use. The following fruits and vegetables vege-tables are desirable: Peaches, apples, ap-ples, pears, peas, corn, beans and some tomatoes. Later in the year we will be interested in getting some root vegetables to pit for winter use. If you have any of the above to let us have, kindly contact either Mrs. Margie Dalton or the school board office. |
