Show Red Cross Meet In Salt Lake City Provides Fine Instruction Reporting on the recent American Red Cross conference held in Salt Lake City, Roxey S. Romney, county chairman, and Mrs. Claud Thompson, vice chairman report they feel that much worthwhile instruction was received to help county officers in their efforts to meet the rapidly increasing program pro-gram of this department of service. Not only were the speakers, which included national and regional reg-ional heads of Red Cross work, concerned with the increasing program pro-gram and problems of the Red Cross organization in relation to service men and their families, but with the growing need of providing pro-viding youth programs that will help to meet the difficulties arising aris-ing from the present world upset. Some interesting figures and facts were given on what is being done in some states and counties and all workers were urged to redouble re-double their efforts in both fields of activity, in preparation for the uncertain years ahead.
