Show Center Ward High Priests Hold Party The Center ward High Priests staged a Valentine social and dancing party Saturday evening, Feb. 12th in the basement of the Tabernacle, a large group of members mem-bers with their partners and specially spe-cially invited guests attending. Wendell Bayles and Charles E. Hansen were in ; charge of the program, William Brooks of refreshments re-freshments and R. D. Adams with Carl Gifford and Mr. Hansen furnished the dance music. Included on the program was a stunt "Brooms" (which is a Center Cen-ter ward High Priests' project), Joyce Milne, Renee Clarke and LaVerne Snell, completing the act with a smart tap dance; vocal solo, "Just Suppose", by Mrs. Mack G. Jackson accompanied by Paul Thompson; history of the Center ward farm by Milton E. Moody; and vocal solo, Carl Gifford, Gif-ford, who accompanied himself on the guitar. During the evening Valentines were sold, addressed and exchanged ex-changed among those present. This is the second in a series of socials outlined by the High Priests for the year 1944, and was well attended. |
