Show Annual Gold and Green Ball To Be Held Here Saturday Night The annual Gold and Green Ball will be held in the St. George Recreation hall, Saturday night, Feb. 19, 1944, at 9:30 p.m. This dance comes under the Budget Plan, and everyone is cordially invited in-vited t6 attend; admission will be free. The queen and king, who have been voted upon by the Gleaners and M Men of the four wards, and who have been elected to rule over this Ball, will be Miss Dean Syphus and Walter Snow. Those other contestants whose attendance attend-ance and good standing in their M. I. A. classes will be their attendants, at-tendants, namely: Geraldine Judd, Muriel Cannon and Virgie Goates; and Don Schmutz, Sheldon Johnson John-son and Rudger McArthur. The committees in charge of the various phases of activity connected con-nected with this Ball have been working diligently to make it a success. This show, together with the decorations and dance programs, has been arranged ar-ranged to correspond with the chosen theme, "Our Castle of Dreams". Both song and dance will be featured, and the grace and charm that will be displayed will delight the eye with beauty of color, form and design. "Let's make a big attendance at this "Gold and Green Ball". It will enable you to forget your troubles and the worries of this topsy-turvy world for a while, at the same time assuring you of a rare treat," declare those in charge of thus event. |
