Show LaYERKIN Pansy L. Hardy Reporter The LaVerkin ward Sunday school sponsored a dance on Valentine's cvo, a large crowd attending. The Builder girls of the Bee Hive honored their leader, Mrs. Geneva Segler, with an afternoon surprise party on her birthday anniversary. an-niversary. A group of women friends completed the day for her with a surprise pot-luck supper. Mr. and Mrs. Emil Sanders and Mr. and Mrs. William Sanders are business visitors in Salt Lake City this week. Miss Esther Young, who has employment at Salt Lake City visited in LaVerkin this week with her sister, Mrs. Vilate Hardy. Mrs. George Hardy visited her mother at the Iron county hospital hos-pital this week. Pfc. James Harris is in LaVerkin La-Verkin this week visiting his wife and other relatives. . He is stationed sta-tioned at Lincoln, Neb., in training train-ing with the Army air corps. Mr. and Mrs. George Sandstrom are in California for an extended visit. The LaVerkin D. U. P. camp held its February meeting at the home of Mrs. Wilford Thompson, Mrs. John A. Judd giving the lesson les-son on "Songs By the Utah Pioneers". Pio-neers". The M. I. A. programs are featuring fea-turing the music and art of the masters, with Mrs. John A. Judd directing, and music furnished by Quinta Neilson and Afton Wilson. Mrs. Beulah Pectol and children of Basic visited this week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Cyrus Gifford. Mrs. Ella Lund is here visiting her sister, Mrs. Wilford Thompson, Mr. and Mrs. John A. Judd were St. George visitors this week. |
