Show SPRINGDALE Mrs. Arnold Ruesch Reporter Mr. and Mrs. June Gifford of Salt Lake City spent the week end visiting vis-iting friends and relatives in Springdale. Mrs. Lora Christensen has returned re-turned home from Salt Lake City. She left Sunday for Escalante with her son, Linford Christensen, Christen-sen, who is teaching there, and was visiting her over Saturday and Sunday. Deward Millett is home on furlough fur-lough from service with the Marines, Mar-ines, and has gone to Provo. ' Stewart Dennett was home recently re-cently on furlough from military service. Mrs. Verdon Bench left this week for Provo. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Evans spent Sunday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Kendle Gifford. Walter Brooks and Linford Christensen were our speakers in Sacrament meeting Sunday. Their talks were greatly appreciated. Mr. and Mrs. Moses Gifford celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary an-niversary with open house at their home during the afternoon. The evening was spent with their immediate im-mediate family and a few intimate friends and neighbors. A music program was enjoyed. . Mr. and Mrs. Larkin Gifford, -Mrs. Melba Hoyt, Mrs. Margie Langston, Mr. and Mrs. Othell Gifford, Mr. and Mrs. Elile Winder, Win-der, Mrs. Malinda Dennett and Mrs. Nerissa Ruesch made a business busi-ness trip to Hurricane recently. Oscar Johnson has gone to Nevada Ne-vada to seek employment. Mr. and Mrs. Chester Allen visited vis-ited over the week end at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Ruesch. Mrs. Reata Rozelle and Mrs. Merle Ruesch made a business trip to St. George over the week end. John Crawford had the misfortune mis-fortune to get one of his fingers sawed off in a band saw last week. Mr. and Mrs. June Gifford, Mr. and Mrs. Larkin Gifford, Mrs. Nancy Crawford and son, Callis, made a business trip to Cedar City over the week end. Harry Gifford of Salt Lake City is a Springdale visitor. |
