Show WASHINGTON Mrs. Lenzy Hoopes Reporter Mrs. Reed Hannig of Logandale, Mrs. Rodney Leany and baby of St. George and Mrs. Edward Mickleson of Middleton were Sunday Sun-day guests of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Hannig. Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Prisbrey left for Los Angeles Monday on business. Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Lamb of Orderville visited at the Calvin Hall home Tuesday. Mrs. Rocha Paxman accompanied accompan-ied her Trekker class on a hike Saturday to the top of Schnawab Kibe. A weiner roast followed the hike. The group of Primary boys included: Kay Staheli, Tommy Tom-my Williams, Cleo Connell, Bruce Dewey, Lenzy Hoopes Jr., and David Williams. The boys were also given their awards for the month. Mrs. Lenzy Hoopes reports that her brother, SSgt. Eldon Thomas of Beaver has been transferred from Camp Carson, Colo., to Camp Roberts, Calif. His wife and baby who are still in Colorado Colo-rado will join him later. Mrs. Hoopes has another brother, Douglas, who is overseas and writes that he is well and enjoying en-joying plenty of sunshine. Mrs. R. P. Adams Sr., John T. Fields and Mrs. Lenzy Hoopes and children were business visitors in Hurricane last Friday. Returning Return-ing via Toquerville, they were dinner guests of Mr. Field's daughter, Mrs. Walter H. Slack. Mrs. Margaret Averett, who has been seriously ill is improving. The Misses Geneva and Irene Prisbrey and Miss Ramona Sproul entertained a group of friends on Monday evening. Out-of-town guests were Bob Bringhurst, Wayne Porter and Gene Stapley of Toquerville. Lunch was served following Rook. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Averett accompanied by Oneida Williams, took their son, Pvt. Alpine Averett Aver-ett to Lund, Monday, where he boarded the train to return to his Army camp in Oklahoma. Pvt. Orson Prince, son of Mrs. Minnie Prince, who has been home on furlough for several days, returned re-turned to his post at San Diego Sunday evening. Bert Connell of Las Vegas is guest of his son-in-law and daughter, daugh-ter, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Prisbrey. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Staheli are visiting their children in California. Cali-fornia. Mr. and Mrs. R. P. Adams Jr., visited their parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. P. Adams Sr., last Friday. |
