Show WASHINGTON Mrs. Caddie Neilson Reporter Mrs. Lydia Stephens returned last week from Salt Lake City where she viisted her daughter, Mrs. Paul Tolton, who left last Friday for Wyoming to be near her husband hus-band who is stationed there. Clare Tanner, Alpine Averett and Orion Prince have all been home on furloughs visiting their respective families. Mrs. Willard Sorenson and son, Sidney, of St. George visited last week with Mr. and Mrs. Israel Neilson. Sidney was home on furlough fur-lough from military training. The February meeting of the Cotton Factory camp of the D. U. P. was held last Thursday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Bert Hall. Mrs. Bert Dewey gave the lesson and Mrs. Alton Jones gave a pioneer history. The ladies chorus gave two vocal numbers. Mrs. Antone Neilson assisted in serving. Bert Webb and his mother-in-law, Mrs. Minnie Paxman, were here last week from Las Vegas visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. L. P. Vincent. The Washington M. I. A. officers entertained at a social Tuesday evening. Mrs. George Wilkins, who has been here from Nevada visiting, left Thursday evening for Los Angeles accompanied by her parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Staheli. Mr. and Mrs. L. P. Vincent entertained en-tertained the Pinochle club at their home last Saturday evening. Mr. and Mrs. A. K. Larson of Hurricane were Sunday visitors at the home of their sister, Mrs. Lydia Stephens. Mrs. Jennie Hall returned Friday Fri-day from Spanish Fork, where she attended the funeral last week of her aunt, Mrs. Mary Atwood. |
