Show Alice Louise Reynolds Club Holds Meeting Hostesses Wednesday afternoon for the Alice Louise Reynolds club were Mesdames LaRee Porter, Emma Crosby, Roma Esplin, Blanche McComb. and LaRue Frei, 22 members and 10 guests attended the affair held in the banquet room of the Arrowhead hotel. -Mrs. Roxey Romney gave a detailed de-tailed report of the recent Library-convention Library-convention held in Kansas City and her participation therein. Music numbers included "Into the Dawn With You" by Mrs. Alice Cannon, and "Irish Hills" a violin selection by Mrs. Vera S. Christian with Mrs. A. Pace accompanying. A part of the afternoon was given over to the selection of the course of study for the ensuing year. Each member present was permitted permit-ted to make one selection from the more than 30 subjects and books presented for them to choose from. The final decision has not been made but it is felt that with the vast amount of outstanding material to choose from, an advantageous ad-vantageous course will result. Guests included Mesdames Kenneth Ken-neth Webber, Alberta Lamb, Rose Bell, of Washington, D. C; Minnie Christian, Mae Crosby, Lila Reber, Afton M. McArthur, Nora Shumway, Shum-way, Ellen Owens and Ramona Prisbrey. |
