Show Fishing Operations Completed At Oil Well Fishing operations at the Anderson Ander-son and Cypher oil well, (formerly the Virgin Dome well), were reported re-ported completed Sunday when the last five sections of the pipe were removed under the direction of H. T. Cypher. The cleaning out of this well started last February when it was taken over by this company. It is the plan of the company to place two cement shut-offs and two bridges. This work will entail two main cement jobs before they will be ready to make their test to see if the water has been shut off. Mr. Cypher expressed great satisfaction with the results that they have been able to obtain. He was particularly pleased with the amount of oil and gas indications that they found in the well. He points out that while there is 2200 feet of water on top of the oil sand where the oil is coming from, they still found gas bubling up through the water and oil on much of the pipe that was brought to the surface. |
