Show Dixie College President Visits Coast Schools Glenn E. Snow, president of the Dixie college, returned Saturday morning from Los Angeles and vicinity where he spent the week visiting and on business connected with educational problems of the college. Major Grandison Gardner, of the United States Air service, who had been visiting in his boy-home boy-home towns of Pine Valley and Grass Valley, accompanied him, returning re-turning to his position at Riverside, River-side, Calif. Together President Snow and Major Gardner visited several places of interest connected with the former's business purposes. "All in all" says President Snow, "the trip was profitably made". He states further that it is expected ex-pected the federal and state officials of-ficials will arrive shortly to look into the proposition of installing the proposed new heating plant for the college. Work will in all probability prob-ability begin at once. Bids for re-shingling re-shingling of the administration building will be advertised through the state department. It is expected, ex-pected, however, says President Snow that this work will go to local contractors. |
